The work may include the removal of all vegetation debris, cleaning of the roof, sealing of all cracks in the existing concrete roof, application of concrete sealer, and installation of new two-ply modified bitumen membrane and base sheet. Work may also include the use of lightweight concrete, and installation of a venting system for the new roof, and the placement of a flashing system in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The Army estimates a total of 36 houses with a total of 60,000 square feet of roof area during each of the base year and one option year. The Army estimates the magnitude of this project to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for the base year and option year combined.
