Project is located on the Red River Ranger District, Idaho County, Idaho; Location of Project -- From Grangeville, Idaho take State Highway 13 east to the junction of State Highway 14; then take Highway 14 towards Elk City to Mile Point 35.25 and junction with Forest Road 492; then take Forest Road 492 to the trailhead between MP 10 and 11. Project consists of reconstruction of 3.08 miles of wilderness trail including 16,255 linear feet (L.F.) clearing, 6,192 L.F. tread reconstruction, 60 treated waterbars, 400 L.F. side and leadoff ditches, 22 square feet (S.F.) rock cribbing and 48 L.F. installation of government furnished 8" plastic pipe.
