16 -- INTERNAL EXTENDED RANGE FUEL SYSTEMS FOR UH-60A BLACKHAWK SOL DABT57-98-R-0045 DUE 082598 POC Contract Specialist SHAUNDA D MCMANUS (757) 878-4178 (Site Code DABT57) The Directorate of Peninsula Contracting intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Robertson Aviation, P.O. Box 968, Tempe, AZ 85250- 0968 (602) 967-5185. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Robertson Aviation is the only known source that can meet the Government's minimum essential requirements, purchase, installation of Guardian 200 ERFS kit (P/N HMO26-002-100) for UH-60 #030 and 032 ("A" kit and "B" kit). Each system must have a minimum capacity of 190 gallons. All bladders, hoses, and disconnects must be crashworthy and self-sealing. System must have single-point pressure refueling capability. Fuel cell must be located and restrained in such a fashion as not to impede entry and egress to the cargo compartment. No more than four passenger seats may be eliminated in the extended range configuration. After initial aircraft modifications, the internal fuel cell(s) must be capable of easy removal and installation in no more than fifteen minutes. Contractor must work closely with customer and AMCOM to ensure an airworthiness release will be granted. Payment and release are contingent upon airworthiness certification by the Government.
