The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River Maryland is seeking offerors for the design, development, and fabrication of one (1) Special Purpose Vehicle. The vehicle shall support the F18 E/F Flight Test Program involving the Six Degree of Freedom (6DoF) Instrumentation System. The 6DoF Instrumentation System is a self contained package designed to provide real-time data during weapon evaluation / separation tests. The vehicle shall adhere to the body framing, body door, compartment door, exterior compartments, paneling, etc., as described under the salient specifications and specification sheet provided with the Request for Quotation. It measures and transmits X, Y &Z axes acceleration information along with Roll, Pitch and Yaw rotational rates. The 6DoF System utilizes commercially available equipment and hardware to accomplish its mission. The Request for Quotation may be accessed through the NAVAIR Home page This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business, the Standard Classification Code is 3711, and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. Request for copies of the RFQ must reference the entire quotation number. Interested parties must respond electronically via e-mail. Interested parties will be notified via e-mail once the RFQ is uploaded to the NAVAIR web site. All amendments shall be sent electronically.
