The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with RF Products, Inc. of Camden, N.J. This fixed priced IDIQ contract will procure up to 140 OA-9277 Multicoupler Conversion Kits, including integration and installation, over a three year ordering period. Delivery of initial minimum quantity of 15 units is required by June 1999. RF Products was the original designer and production contractor of the OA-9123/SRC muticoupler, they have the detailed knowledge and expertise to accomplish the conversion to a OA-9277/SRC Multicoupler including the necessary hardware, software integration, production, and testing facilities necessary to design and produce and acceptable multicoupler. A complete data/design package is not available. The upgrade for the OA-9277/SRC Multicoupler Conversion Kits will include the following assemblies: -- NSN 7G 5999-01-279-7488 Serial Input/Output Board Assy. -- NSN 7G 5999-01-279-7489 Logic Board Assy., Processor Module -- ID Plate for OA-9277/SRC Multicoupler -- ID Plate for modified Control Power Supply -- ID Plates for modified Cabinet Assy. -- Label for the modification of the fault code indicators on the inside of the front door assembly from 5- wire parallel OA-9123 to the serial version OA-9277 version The contractor will remove, modify and reinstall the various assemblies required to support the conversion. Acceptance Testing of each major subassembly unit to an approved Acceptance Test Procedure will be conducted. Packaging, Certification of Conformance, an Acceptance Test Data Package and Report with each retrofitted multicoupler will be provided.
