NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Dynopro-Mstc200 Microsampler Temperature Controlled Optics (4-40c) Must Be Sensitive To 0.4 Mg/Ml Solution Of 14kda Protein, 20 Ul Sample Volume; Dynals Size Distribution Software; and Microsampler Cuvette (12 Ul). Quantity 1 ea. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Protein Solutions Inc., 2300 Commonweath Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901. This sole source is based on system compatibility. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have until July 27, 1998, to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/ capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after July 27, 1998, without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to thesynopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
