The Navy Combat Edge (NCE) Program at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for 330 expanded coverage anti-gravity (+Gz) trousers qualified for use with the Navy Combat Edge positive pressure breathing system ensemble and F/A-18 series aircraft with an option for an additional 958 units. Final delivery of the initial 330 units is required no later than March 1999. This solicitation will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Mustang Survival, Inc., of Bellingham, WA (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1) because Mustang possesses the proprietary rights to a unique bladder construction technique required for flight safety.
