Men's and Women's Parade Jackets, Trousers & Slacks, as well as, Drum
& Bugle Trousers, to be manufactured in accordance with USAF Academy
specifications. Material for the Parade Jackets and Winter
Trousers/Slacks will be Government Furnished Material (GFM). Successful
contractor shall provide material for the summer trousers/slacks and
the Drum & Bugle trousers. Estimated quantities for the Basic Period
are as follows: Jacket, Men's -- 900 each; Jacket, Women's -- 175 each;
Trousers, Summer, Men's -- 1200 pair; Trousers, Winter, Men's -- 1000
pair; Slacks, Summer, Women's -- 350 pair; Slacks, Winter, Women's --
350 pair; Trouser, Drum & Bugle, 50 pair. Quantities for each Option
Period are estimated to be the same as the Basic Period -- Contractor
shall cut, make, and trim all items. Firm Fixed Price requirements type
contract with a Basic Period and four (4) one year options. Basic
period is date of award through 31 Dec 99. First article for each
garment shall be required within 30 days after contract award -- A
minimum of two qualified fitters shall be required at the USAF Academy
for a two week period during each July starting in 1999, to measure
cadets for Parade Jackets. Approximately 25 each Parade jackets of
various sizes shall be manufactured and provided for the measuring of
cadets. Final inspection and acceptance will be at the contractor's
place of manufacture by the cognizant Defense Contract Management
Command (DCMC) Region. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, USAF Academy
CO. Request for proposal F0561198R0712 will be available on or about
19 Aug 98; RFP closing will be on or about 21 Sep 98. No telephone
