Marion/Pkwrm/ [937]257-8344 This is a Commercial Solicitation for Post Doctoral Research in the study of ion implantation and metallic contact of A1(x)Ga(1-x)N Epilayers, A1(x)Ga(1-x)N/GaN hetrostructures and quantum well structures grown on Sapphire or SiC. Majority of contract work will be performed at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Period of Performance will be around 1 Sep 98 for a duration of one calendar year with a one year option period. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
