States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate
with Perkin-Elmer Corporation, 761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06859 for
on-call maintenance and support of Perkin-Elmer equipment and support
equipment for a one-year period with two-one year options. The
equipment possesses hardware design and technical data proprietary to
Perkin-Elmer. This acquisition shall be conducted under FAR Part 12 for
commercial services. Services shall be paid on a fixed price, monthly
basis. Replacement parts shall be deemed to be included in the monthly
price. Replacement or repair parts shall be new. The contact shall not
cover or include spares or consumable items. The equipment consists of
one each of: (1) CG 8500, s/n 058837017040; (2) CG 8500, s/n
058837012040; (3) 960 INTERFACE, 9007560604; (4) 960 INTERFACE, s/n
9007560580; (5) AA 5100-PC, s/n 151077; (6) 5100ZL FURNACE MODULE, s/n
89342; (7) HGA COOLING SYSTEM, s/n 4499; (8) AS-70, s/n 5092; (9)
AS-90, s/n 8580; (10) FIAS-400, s/n 4473; (11) CG AUTOYSTEM I-IV, s/n
610N4122801; (12) CG HEAD SPACE HS-40, s/n 2261; and (13) DEC STATION
466 D2, s/n KA424ZMB42. The contract shall cover on-demand maintenance
to correct to correct malfunctions encountered with normal everyday
equipment use. Service also includes intervening calls necessary
between regular inspections excepting repairs necessitated by accident,
current fluctuation, fire or abuse. Failure to comply will result in
withholding or payment delay. At any time during the contract, the
Government may, at its option, add additional items(s) of the same
models as already listed or may discontinue the service on any item(s)
upon 30-day written notice to the Contractor of its intention to
increase or decrease any item(s). The contract DOES NOT require the
Contractor to provide regularly scheduled maintenance. The Contractor
shall perform all services during the USAYPG standard week (6:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday). There is no site access on
Fridays. The Contractor will not be working with any classified
information or material. Access to work sites at the firing ranges will
require the Contractor to submit Contractor employee personnel security
information. Requests for the solicitation package shall include;
solicitation number, documentation demonstrating that your firm
possesses the authorization, training and capability to perform
maintenance on this equipment and historical access to replacement
parts, your complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number,
