This Maintenance will be performed at Combat Equipment Group- Asia(CEG-A) located at Naval Weapon Station, Charleston, SC. Responsibility for maintenance of APS will continue while afloat and during handoff in deployed contingency operations. Invested sources should be capable of managing and performing maintenance on all classes of APS, except Class 1 (MRE) and Class V (ammunition), in compressed time frames during ship turnarounds. The estimated issue date for this RFP is 23 July 1998 and the closing date for receipt of proposals is 28 August 1998.
