Q -- MAMMOGRAMS AND SONOGRAMS FOR REFERRED VETERANS SOL 502-27-98 DUE 082898 POC Bernice Griffin @ (318) 473-0010 X 2240 or Carol Robertson @ (318) 473-0010 X 2234 This is a full and open negotiated procurement for mammograms -- screening, diagnostic, cone downs and magnification and sonograms with all interpretations for approximately 300 referred veterans for the base twelve (12) month period. The solicitation includes a base year with four optional one (1) year provisions with an anticipated 10% increase in patient referral each year. The contractor must maintain JCAHO, ACR, Medicare and all local, state and federal accreditations and certifications for mammography services. Verification of offeror's ability to meet requirements must be submitted with offer. Readings must be provided to VA within 48 work hours of testing; copies of fims must be provided within four (4) work days. Screening mammograms must be DOUBLE READ. Services will be performed at contractor's place of business and must be located within a 20 mile radius of this hospital. A single award will be made to the contractor meeting all requirements submitting the lowest price. It the policy of this medical center to reimburse healthcare providers utilizing the prevailing Medicare allowable fee schedule for specific CPT code services. Written request for RFP is required.
