Georgia 30345 R -- PROFESSIONAL LAND BOUNDARY SURVEY, STATE OF KENTUCKY POC Point of
Contact -- Contact, Roger Lockhart, Contract Specialist, U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service (FWS), Region IV, in accordance with the Brooks Act
and Part 36.6 of Federal Acquisition Regulations, is seeking a
qualified firm to provide labor, equipment, materials, services, and
supplies required to complete boundary land surveys (primarily rural
survey); prepare individual reports and maps for acquisition; marking
of tracts of land. The task to be accomplished by the contractor
include but are not limited to : a) controlled resurvey and
monumentation of each tract; b) all necessary research ground control
and reports; c) all record maps, record descriptions and all recording
processes. In order to be considered for evaluation you must be
licensed for the State of Kentucky or you will be considered
nonresponsible. One indefinite delivery contract will be awarded for
the State of Kentucky. Number and magnitude of projects to be
undertaken are dependent upon priority and availability of funds at the
time of issuance of each delivery order. The term of the contract shall
be from date of award through December 15, 1998, with one 1 year
option. FWS will consider the immediate past 10 years as the period of
time for evaluation. The following evaluation factors will be used for
evaluation of submittal and are descending order of importance. (1)
Geographical location and familiarity with the area; (2) Professional
qualifications and experience; (3) Rural boundary survey experience;
(4) Past performance in terms of cost control, quality of work and
other experience: (5) Type of field and office equipment available. (Be
sure to include any version of equipment i.e., CADD Ver. 12.) ; and,
(6) Capacity to accomplish work in a required time. A&E's responding to
this notice shall submit a Standard Form 254 and 255 along with any
additional information that they deem to be of benefit to their firm.
A SEPARATE SF 254 & 255 IS REQUIRED. All evaluation factors must be
addressed separately. FIRMS SHALL SUBMIT THREE COPIES OF THEIR
QUALIFICATIONS DIRECTLY TO U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Attn: Roger
Lockhart, 1875 Century Blvd., Suite 310, Atlanta, GA 30345, not later
than August 31, 1998. Offerors are cautioned that qualifications
received after the specified closing date may be considered late. This
is not and RFP. To be classified a small business, a firm's average
annual receipts for the preceding three years, must not exceed $2.5
