Garcia (301) 443-2750, FAX (301) 443-5462 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC LAW 103-43, SECTION 767, AWARD RESULTING FROM THIS SOLICITATION IS LIMITED TO ACCREDITED PUBLIC OR PRIVATE NONPROFIT SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ENTITIES THAT PROVIDE FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONS. The purpose of the procurement is to conduct an assessment of allied health education at the clinical level, specifically as it relates to the availability and appropriateness of clinical training necessary to assure required clinical education as part of the process in training for the 21st Century. In performance of this contract the contractor shall: 1) convene an Allied Health Education Reform Committee; 2) convene a 2-two day planing meetings; 3) develop a final work plan; 4) plan and conduct an invitational conference to initiate the interface between allied health and key stakeholders; 5) prepare two draft reports.
