NICHOLAS WOLFE (787) 273-3251 (Site Code DAJN02) Moving Services for the relocation of offices and other non-residential activities into and within Puerto Rico during a one year period, with four option years available. The Army intends to award multiple requirements which are anticipated. Pricing shall be based upon the following: (1) hundred weight count of freight moved within Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico; (2 mileage for freight moved to or from locations other than Fort Buchanan; (3) labor hours for moving efforts which cannot be priced effectively based upon hundred weight count; and, (4) an additional percentage factor to be added to moving efforts required to be performed outside of regular Federal Government working hours. Contractors will be required to provide the following services: (1) packing and moving for a wide variety of official activities presently located in Fort Buchanan and at other facilities in Puerto Rico; (2) receipt and, occasionally, transportation of incoming freight; (3) delivery of freight packed or received in Puerto Rico to new facilities; (4) unpacking and set-up of furniture, computers, files and other items related to the performance of official duties by the activity being moved; (5) and other moving-related services which nay be needed during the term of a contract.
