THIS NOTICE IS ALSO THE SOLICITATION. THERE WILL BE NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE. Oversees all pre-service training activities for 12-week integrated training program for Peace Corps Volunteers. Oversees pre-service training staff including Training Manager, Cross-Culture Coordinator, Language Coordinator & Instructors, Technical Trainers, Administrative Support Staff and Trainees. Is lead planner, trainer, coordinator, evaluator, manager and administrator of training site. Sets standards and direction for curriculum development, session design and presentation, staff development and support, assessment and evaluation of trainees. Responsible for ensuring open communications between training sites and Peace Corpsoffice. Ensures all components of training are integrated. Is liaison between the training and in-country staff and with the host country agencies and in-country foreign agencies involved in the training. Qualifications: Prior training experience with Peace course a must; experience as a trainerusing participatory methodologies, espcially PACA, highly desired; prior experience in all aspects of training programs in a developing country; experience living in Africa and fluency in Portuguese required.
