Z -- REPLACE UNDERGROUND PIPING, INDUSTRIAL WASTE TREATMENT PLANT, BLDG 2600, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GEORGIA SOL N62467-97-Q-3599 DUE 082498 POC Ms. Patty Morgans (912)439-5603 Ext 15, FAX (912)439-5999 This is a simplified acquisition for CONSTRUCTION SERVICES to provide all labor, material, and equipment to REPLACE UNDERGROUND PIPING, INDUSTRIAL WASTE TREATMENT PLANT(IWTP), BLDG 2600, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GEORGIA. The work consists of A. Replacing some existing underground PVC chemical pipes with welded joints schedule 40, type 304 stainless steel lines at the IWTP. Replace chemical feed pipes from the Chemical Pump Building to the Neutralization Tank and to the Reaction Tank. It also replaces existing PVC piping from the Grit Chamber over to the Spent Acid Tank. B. Provide 1" schedule 80 PVC drain lines from the three existing mixing/holding tanks located inside the old Sulfur Dioxide Building. The new drain lines shall all be connected and ran to a new trench drain that will be located in front of the existing double doors to the building. The new trench drain shall be approximately 12" wide, 13'8" long and a minimum of 18" deep. The magnitude for this soliciation is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated duration of the contract is 45 days for completion.
