Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the rehabilitation of Building 36, Sections 1B and 1D. Architectural work is to include the removal and installation of drywall partition walls; removal and reinstallation of demountable partition walls; painting of walls; removal and installation of carpet; cleaning of existing carpet; minor drop ceiling renovation; and the removal and installation of doors. Electrical work will include the removal and installation of receptacles; retrofitting of several light fixtures from T-12 ballasts to T-8 ballasts; and minor fire alarm modifications. Mechanical work will include the installation of a sink, air diffuser and ductwork modifications, and minor fire detection equipment modifications. The approximate area of space to be renovated in Section 1B is 4800 square feet. The approximate area of the space to be renovated in Section 1D is 9000 square feet. The work shall be performed by a general contractor who has several years experience in office renovations. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 90 calendar days. The contractor may be required to perform a certain amount of work outside normal weekday working hours and/or on weekends. The approximate cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118-3399. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. The SIC is 1542, size standard $17.0M.
