Z -- REPAINT 2 WATER TOWERS SOL IFB 542-16-98 DUE 090298 POC Harry Pearson, Contract Specialist, (610) 383-0202 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the preparation for and the repainting of 2 water towers, which includes the steel bands surrounding the base of the tanks, the Drums, the Legs with trusses, the Steel Balconies and railings, the bases, the ladders with fall guards, the tension rods, the transformers, the electrical boxes, and the surrounding fences, at the minimum. All work will be in accordance with the supplied specifications and contract drawings. This Solicitation is available for full and open competition. The cost range for this project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Requests for a solicitation package must be in writing to the Contracting Officer along with a non-refundable fee of $25.00, in the form of a check made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All requests must indicate the solicitation number, name of the project requested, complete company name, complete company address, company telephone and facsimile numbers, and the name of a contact person. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The issue date for this solicitation is on or about 7/31/98.
