This project will consist of a base bid and a optional line item. Work consists of installing a shallow trench and high temperature water distribution system from a valve box near Building 35430 and proceeding to supply buildings in the 28400 area. This includes the installation of approximately 4340 linear feet of concrete shallow trench and approximately 8760 linear feet of carbon steel pipe ranging from 1.5" to 6" in diameter, with cellular glass insulation, valves and appurtenances. Performance time is 600 calendar days. Total estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Projected issue date is O/A 14 Aug 98 with a projected opening date of 14 Sep 98.
