This modifies the synopsis previously published on April 29, 1998 by changing the requirement to thirty (30) 68-70 foot, 100 ton flat cars with a minimum of 28 tie downs, plus pockets on each car. The contractor shall provide used railcars, material and labor to recondition, inspect, test, and deliver the flat cars. Detailed specifications and minimum requirements will be set forth in the solicitation. Paper copies of these documents are not available. The documents will be available in text format and reside on a WWW server which may be accessed using web browsers.
