This amendment is issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the second amendment of the above solicitation, offers are being requested, and a written amendment will not be issued. This amendment is issued to revise the solicitation/synopsis. (1) Change the minimum salient characteristics as follows: delete the requirement for a minimum 13-15 horsepower diesel engine and add the requirements for a 110 VAC 1-1/2 horsepower, 1 phase electric motor. (2) The offer due date and time has been changed to 3:00 p.m., local time, Friday, July 31, 1998.
