A -- INTEGRATED MULTIPLE PLATFORM LAUNCH CONTROLLER, AND POWER SUPPLY SOL N68335-97-C-0005 P0001 DUE 081798 POC Michael B Palaia (732) 323-2418 The government intends to modify contract N68335-97-C-0005 with Raytheon Company,Electromagnetic Systems Division, of Goleta, Ca. to provide one each CD-108/ALE, Integrated Multiple Platform Launch Controller (IMPLC) mfg P/N 3410AS20-3 and one each Integrated Primary Power Supply (IPPS) assembly, mfg. P/N 3410AS2000-2. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government authority of U.S.C.. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 applies. Raytheon is the sole owner of the logistics support analysis data base and source data to produce the enginering data required to manufacture the IMPLC and IPPS. They are the principle developer of the AN/ALE-50 avionics and retain the proprietory rights of all data and are currently on contract under N68335-97-C-0005 to provide intermediate level WRA TPSs and depot level SRA TPSs for the AN/ALE-50 system. Firms that recognize and can possible produce these items areencouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive proposal.
