This technology-specific acquisition is anticipated to be a nationwide, multiple-award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). ESPC is a contracting method whereby the contractor incurs the cost of implementing energy savings measures, including performing the audit, designing the project, acquiring and installing equipment, training personnel, and operating and maintaining equipment; in exchange for a share of any energy savings directly resulting from implementation of such measures during the term of the contract.
