Work shall include but not be limited to furnishing all tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 90 LF of existing sidewalk; install a new 36' x 19' by 8" 3000 lb reinforced concrete platform with integrated brick lug over the existing slab at Novacel Plaza; provide a 1 inch crown at the center of the new slab to provide positive drainage; install 93 LF of new 3000 lb reinforced concrete brick lug at the rear (west) of the new concrete platform in the pattern shown on the site plan; install approximately 193 LF x 5' wide x 4" thick new 3000 lb reinforced concrete sidewalk as per the site plan; install 84 LF x 3" courses of new brick at the perimeter of the new elevated concrete platform; the top course of brick will be set as a rollock course with metered corners; install 93 LF of brick rollock coping on the new brick lug at the rear (west) of the new elevated concrete pad; and install approximately 600 square feet x 3" of decomposed granite over 4" of compacted base material in the interior of the brick coping at the rear (west) of at the new elevated platform. All exposed concrete will be broom finished. All concrete sidewalks and brick lugs will be reinforced with 6" weld wire mesh. All concrete sidewalks and brick lugs shall be placed atop a minimum 3 inches of compacted crushed stone. Performance period is forty-five (45) days. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Alternative payment protection is required. Request for quotation DADA10-98-Q-0438 to be issued 12 August 1998 and is due 12 September 1998.
