58 -- VIDEO MONITORS SOL DAHA1798R2005 DUE 081498 POC Annette Bergeron, 207/990-7353 37" Video Monitors, (10 each), Mitsubishi (or equal) with all required connecting equipment. Video Monitors must interface with existing SIMTEC Video/Data Integration System configurations and specifications. Inputs from NTSC video devices must be scan doubled and converted to four (4) component video with routing through the system switches to the display devices. Video inputs will be routed to a SIMTEC main matrix switcher capable of taking sixteen (16) and eight (8) outputs; initially, the switch should be expandable to thirty-two (32) input/outputs. The switcher must be capable of being controlled via front panel switches, control system and software, in case of single point failures. The switch must be capable of driving output signals 500 feet and still be intact. They must be capable of 400 Mhz bandwidth. All video outputs will be displayed on 37" high-resolution monitors and data grade video projectors. System must be compatible with a Sony VPH-1272QCRT type already installed. System should be designed and configured to handle one additional data/graphics projector as well as one additional 120" projection screen. Provided monitors capable of displaying video signals in the 15.75 Khz horizontal scan rate to the 85 Khz horizontal scan rate range. All power conversion, cabling and connectors should be provided as part of the system/installation. Quote should include cost of monitors, connecting cables and associated equipment to interface with existing SIMTEC Data/Video Integration System. Equipment must fit in existing consoles. Delivery of ten (10) each monitors must be on site to meet existing installation dates of SIMTEC system. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as Request for Proposals (RFP) DAHA1798R2005; the solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This is a 100% small business set-aside; see numbered Note 1. SIC is 3663, small business size standard is 750 employees. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies; specific evaluation criteria are (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet Government requirements, (ii) price and (iii) past performance. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are of equal weight to price in evaluation of offers. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with their offers.
