The new closing time for quotes is now 7 August 1998 at 4 PM central standard time. The following changes are hereby made to the statement of work and to the award basis: (A) The suggested power supply that is identified in the original announcement is not UL listed. The power supply description is hereby changed to: must be UL listed and compatible with the cameras that are to be installed. Identify the power supply and FAX that information to MSgt Roche at 210-671-2294 or 210-671-3058 for approval before closing date. (B) Each quote must have an itemized listing of all equipment, including the quantities, for each of the three proposal options. (C) Each bidder will include a list of references for previous security system installations with names and telephone numbers for the points of contact so that the government can do a reference check. (D) Warranty information must be included with your quote and shall include your response time to warranty calls. (E) The original announcement indicated the need for Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The government has the right to proceed to award when ready. Any contractor who has quoted but failed to complete CCR registration by the time of award may have their quote voided. The government can then proceed to the next low offer that is CCR registered and otherwise qualified for award. As it has been taking as long as a week to obtain registration you are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
