70 -- REQUEST FOR SPAN-FM SUPPORT SERVICES POC Ms. Wendy R. Johnson, (703) 767-1177, Contract Specialist, H. Maurice Ford., (703) 767-1175, Contracting Officer 70 -- DLA Administrative Support Center (DASC) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Innovative Tech Systems for Space Management Services. This announcement constitutes the only announcement. Quotations are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. This request for quotation SP4700-98-Q-0006, will be evaluated using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (See FAR 13.106-2). Innovative Tech Systems will provide sustained engineering services to include on-site engineering support for space management, operational use and help desk response. Efforts shall include maintenance of asset, space and maintenance data, database administration and report preparation. Technical support efforts shall include providing technical expertise to support all phases of the program, interface with designated government personnel and associated contractors on technical issues, and preparation/assistance in preparation of briefings and presentations. The contractor shall maintain the facility datain the SPAN-FM database. The contractor shall also provide technical support in the upgrade of SPAN-FM to version 6.3a. The maintenance of data includes the Headquarters Complex (HQC) as well as the Child Development Center. Maintenance of data includes creation/modificaiton of standards, creation/modification of format files, and creation/modification of detail records. The data files will include: Property standards and details, Asset standards and details, Maintenance standards and details, Space standards and User accounts and privileges. The contractor shall also provide on-site support for report preparation and maintenance as tasked by DASC. The reports shall be prepared using the SPAN-FM Reports Module. Contractor shall provide (1) additional license of CAD Integrator application. Deliverables shall include: Install SPAN-FM Workgroup version 6.3a; Install SPAN-FM CAD Integrator version 6.3a (3 locations); and Database Reports as requested. As part of this effort, the contractor shall conduct a comprehensive Space Audit of the Headquarters Complex during the month of August 1998. The objective of this audit: 1) identify and document workspace varying from HQC standards; 2) identify and document vacant workspace; 3) identify and document space modifications. The contractor shall implement SPAN-FM Space Analysis and Stacking applications. This will require configuration of database, population of standards data and creation of space model details. Deliverables shall include: Space Audit Report; and Space Analysis and Stacking Implementation. Responses must be received within 5 days from the date of this publication.
