Brinkley, (619)553-7512 Support services for the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center for the design, development, test and evaluation, integration, installation, and update of yield management technologies, decision support systems, and databases for military selection and classification and technical training within the Integrated Navy Training Requirements and Planning Databases (INTRPD). Support is also required to conduct laboratory simulation prototypes and live pilot tests of alternative training management business processes. The scope of the proposed five year (base year plus four option years) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract includes a research and development strategy to evaluate and integrate the selection, classification, training planning, and execution subprocesses by developing a simulation model of the student and data flow of the different INTRPD components. This evaluation will identify the critical points and constraints of timely student flow through the training continuum and effectiveness of training management measures, cost of training, and timeliness. This project will benefit the Navy by providing decision support tools to assess "what if" scenarios regarding tradeoffs among training demand and training costs.
