Maintenance and Repair of Elevators and Dumbwaiters at Various Areas on
Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all
labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, and
supervision needed to maintain elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and
moving sidewalk equipment systems. The contractor shall conduct
preventive maintenance inspection and services; perform equipment
systems certifications to meet industry safety standards; respond to
service calls to restore malfunctioning equipment systems; establish
work control, record, and report programs to monitor the contract's
progress; repair all damages caused by accident, negligence or misuse;
and install new or improved equipment and modify the existing
equipment. SIC Code 1796 applies. The contract term will be a base
period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the
contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. If the
Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the
Governmentmay require the Contractor to continue performance for an
additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services
clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options
when exercised. This contract will replace a contract for similar
services awarded in 1994 for $331,872.00 (firm fixed-price) and
$119,908.00 estimated (indefinite quantity) per year. We will include
information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor
(e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with
the solicitation package. We do not require requests under the Freedom
of Information Act for this information. Provide street address, phone

contracting office will accept requests for solicitations by mail or
facsimile (808) 471-9342. Large business concerns shall submit a
subcontracting plan. The solicitation utilizes source selection
procedures which require offerors to submit past performance,
experience, and small business subcontracting information, and a price
