AEGIS shore sites and centers include the Navy's Land Based Test Site and Combat System Engineering Development Site, and Lockheed Martin/Government Electronic System's (LM/GES's) Naval Systems Computer Center and Video Operations Center. Negotiations will be conducted with Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic System pursuant to 10.U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). LM/GES is the developer and sole producer of the AEGIS Weapon System, and is the only known company which possess the knowledge, experience and expertise to maintain operations at the above mentioned sites.
