The following explanations are provided and changes are made to the solicitation: 1. The number of nights for any given CLIN shall be calculated without including the ending or checkout date for that given CLIN. For example, CLIN 0001 is 18 Rooms, for 10/4/98 -- 10/16/98 is a total of 12 nights. CLIN 0002 is 18 Rooms for 10/18/98 -- 11/13/98 is a total of 26 nights. The students will be checking out on the last day before noon. etc... 2. CLIN 0049 is hereby changed to read as follows: CLIN 0049, Conference Facility "B" for CLIN 0048. 3. CLIN 0061 is hereby changed to read as follows: CLIN 0061, Conference Facility "B" for CLIN 0060. 4. The price for the Conference rooms should be a set price for the period of each corresponding class. For example, the price for CLIN 0004 (Conference Facility "A" for CLIN 0003), should be a set price for the period of 10/18/98 -- 10/23/98 (CLIN 0003 time frame). 5. Paragraph 11 of the Statement of Work is hereby changed to read as follows: The facility shall be located within 1/4 of a mile to five full service restaurants/establishments. Two of these may be of the fast food variety. 6. Paragragh 13 of the Statement of Work is hereby changed to read as follows: The contractor's facilities shall meet minimum Federal, State and Local standards for hotels. 7. There will be another amendment coming out that alters the evaluation criteria for this procurement. Please check the CBD daily for it. It will be posted as a modification to N00600-98-R-2601 pre-solicitation notice just as this was. 8. The closing date for this solicitation is hereby extended through 14 August 1998 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time at the same location listed in the initial synopsis/solicitation.
