mark_nesvig@nps.gov. 1. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for
small business concerns. 2. The work under this contract consists of
re-siding and painting the complete exterior of the Olympic National
Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles Washington. The existing horizontal
and vertical cedar siding will be covered with a fibrous cement board
lap siding, the remaining exposed painted surfaces will be prepared for
repainting and the entire building will be painted. NOTE: The paint has
been sampled and tested for lead content and does contain lead. The
contractor shall dispose of all construction debris outside of the park
at a legal dumpsite. Paint chips collected from the site shall be
disposed of as hazardous waste at a legal dumpsite. A certificate of
disposal for all hazardous waste is required. Trim boards containing
lead based paint shall have a TCLP (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching
Procedure) test to determine if they are required to be disposed of as
hazardous or non-hazardous waste. They shall be disposed of ata legal
dumpsite as hazardous or non-hazardous waste as determined by the TCLP
test. 3. The sucessful contractor is required to start work 30 calendar
days after award and complete the entire project not later than 90
calendar days after award. 4. Please submit a written request for a bid
