Brown, (315) 772-6510 (Site Code DAKF36) Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the repair of Bridge #17, Birch Road, Fort Drum, New York, in strict accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. PRINCIPAL FEATURES: The work to be performed will include, but is not limited to the following items: Complete removal of existing concrete and steel bridge deck, excluding concrete end abutments and center pier. Modify existing end abutments to allow installation of new bridge deck. Install new concrete end abutments. Install new single span bridge with steel girders and laminated wood deck. Work Restrictions: Total time for bridge closure not to exceed 8 weeks. This procurement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. The construction period is 270 calendar days. Solicitation to be issued O/A 15 Aug 98.
