Multi-Bottle Liquid Samplers and Control Panels for Munition Sampling System; Bechtel National, Inc., acting as agent for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program (CSDP), intends to competively procure six (6) Muntion Sampling Systems with an option for an additional two (2) Munition Sampling Systems. Each Munition Sampling System shall include multiple bottle liquid sampler with sample pump, integral programming panel, and contact closure output to alarm sampling status, hand-held data transfer unit for on-site collection of stored data and hard copy reports, remote mounted control panel or PLC, cable with end connectors, and sampler bottles. Sampled fluid is 15 gpm of liquid agent at a temperature range of 77 to 125 degrees F and at a pressure between 0 and -7.9 psig, from this sample of 10 ml is taken. This procurement is unrestricted with regard to business size. The Request for Proposal (RFP), which shall be pursuant to Contracting by Negotiation as described in FAR Part 15, will be issued approximately September 10, 1998.
