This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-98-Q-0756 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ)and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-07. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this solicitation is 7379 and the small business annual receipts of $18M. The following items are required: CLIN 0001, SPS 1000-10 ARES software and documentation in accordance with the following Statement of Work (SOW). STATEMENT OF WORK. NAWCTSD will provide a PENTIUM II Workstation to Signal Processing Systems. The SPS-1000-10 Acoustic Recording and Analysis (ARES) application software and utilities shall be installed and tested by Signal Processing System.Upon validating that the SPS-1000-10 ARES is compatible with various workstation components, the workstation, operator/technical manual, installation procedure, and CD-ROM containing the ARES software shall be packed and shipped to: NAWCTSD, 12350 Research Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3275, ATTN: Jerry Wyndle (Code 4923). END OF SOW. The solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Signal Processing Systems. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after award to Signal Processing Systems. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5. The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b), and DFARS addenda thereto, apply: (6), (7), (8), (9) and (16); 252.225-7001 and 252.225-7036.
