FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a synopsis for commercial items and their installation prepared in accordance with the form in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The RFQ with all details and the statement of work will be available on 8/18/98 at the site visit/walk-thru. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 3496 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The agency need is for twenty (20) each wire mesh safety shield for the hydraulic presses at SIMA San Diego. The safety curtains shall be constructed of support rods manufactured of 1 " diameter tube, also the mesh will be 304 stainless steel " 19 gauge with 100% drape. The presses are various sizes and shall be measured at the site visit. This job will also have the installation of these safety curtains at SIMA San Diego.
