(STK) RAID Subsystems contained in the attached Request For Quotation (RFQ). CSC intends to purchase new or refurbished equipment from STK, STK's authorized resellers, or third party equipment resellers of this type equipment. Equipment shall be delivered FOB to MSFC, AL, installed, made ready for acceptance by CSC, and after acceptance, covered by the OEM's equivalent warranty. Interested parties wishing to propose alternate equipment must also submit with their offers, detailed specification sheets/technical brochures with sufficient information for CSC to perform a Technical Evaluation to ensure compliance with salient features. A determination by CSC to not consider alternate proposals, based upon information provided by such interested parties, is solely within the discretion of CSC. Parties proposing refurbished equipment shall comply with the note and intent for such equipment contained in the RFQ. Responses received after 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as the RFQ (with description/part numbers), Reps and Certs, and CSC's T's & C's are attached in Word 6.0 files. Quotations must include an executed RFQ, Certification package, and any exceptions to CSC's T's & C's for consideration. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
