Postal Service is soliciting proposals to expand the existing post office in Fairport, NY and convert it into a carrier annex. Work includes, but is not limited to, sitework, concrete, masonry, doors & windows, finishes, specialties, casework, mechanical, electrical, and other related work. The estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00, with completion within (to be determined) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on September 1, 1998. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 31, 1998 at a cost of $75.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Certified checks or money orders only will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S.
