The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington and National Navy Medical Center have a requirement for bulk oxygen tanks and oxygen for medical life support. The rental of a 3000 Gallon main tank and a 500 gallon reserve tank is required with all necessary components. The system shall include all piping, fittings, valves, pressure relief valves, gassifiers and other components to provide a complete and usable system. The contractor shall install, maintain, inspect, and certify the performance of the contractor owned components of the bulk oxygen storage tank system as required by NFPA 50 and NFPA 99. Additionally, all requirements of the State of Maryland, National Gas Producers Association, NNMCINST 6320.51, BUMED 6710.66, ASME Boiler and Pressure Code, and Department of Transportation Specifications and Regulations must be met. Bulk Oxygen will be delivered in approximately two lots per month. Estimated delivery quantity 436 to 873 cubic feet per lot. All tasks will occur on-site at National Navy Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. Anticipated commercial item contract.
