(LMITCO), the prime Management and Operating contractor for the
Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering and
Environmental Laboratory (INEEL) is seeking information from firms
regarding Electronic Timesheet Systems (ETS). The ETS system must meet
the following requirements: 1) The ETS system must be a commercial
"off-the-shelf" application (Lotus Notes based product is preferred),
2) The application must be able to support 5,000 users across disperse
geographic locations, 3) This application must allow time sheet
submittal via the Intranet, 4) The application must be able to accept
data from legacy human resource systems, 5) The application must export
data to legacy payroll systems, 6) The application must allow for data
validation of charge numbers, hours, earn codes, etc, 7) The
application must allow for manager approval of timesheets and allow
employees to be matrixed to organizations, 8) The application must
allow a manager to authorize other employees for timesheet approval, 9)
The application must allow an individual to complete a timesheet for
another employee, 10) The application must maintain 26 weeks of
history, 11) The application must identify who has not submitted a
timesheet, 12) The application must allow for amended timesheets, 13)
The application must keep track of an employee's work schedule, 14) The
application must record uncompensated work hours, 15) The application
must maintain a holiday schedule, 16) The application must run on the
IBM S/390 computer platform, and 17) Source code must be provided as
part of the offering. This Request for Information (RFI) will close to
