DESCRIPTION: MATERIAL IS STEEL, OVERALL LENGTH IS 23.430 INCHES MINIMUM, 23.490 MAXIMUM. FUNCTION: FLAT SECTION OF BASE SHEET WITH A BACKBONE. THE BASE SHEET HAS THREE TRANSVERSE STIFFENERS THAT ACT AS GUIDES FOR THE RETAINERS THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE DIVERGENT SEAL. THE FLAP HAS A LOOP RETAINER AND TWO CHANNEL STIFFENERS (TCTO 561) FOR ADDED SUPPORT. THERE ARE TWO ATTACHMENT POINTS FOR THIS FLAP, FORWARD ATTACHMENT POINT AND BACKBONE ATTACHMENT.
