E-MAIL: Lorenzo T. Chance, lorenzo.chance-1@ksc.nasa.gov. NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Offers for construction of Repave NASA and Kennedy Parkways at the John F. Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing all required labor and materials to mill and resurface approximately 7.3 km of the existing parkways. The work includes milling to an average depth of 38mm and resurfacing the milled areas with asphalt. The project also requires concrete pavement at an intersection, permanent and temporary traffic markings, and replacement of existing traffic loops. All work is to be performed in accordance with a KSC drawing and specification. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1799 and $7.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about August 14, 1998, with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about September 15, 1998.
