Sic Code1795-The work of this contract consists of the demolition of the concrete view tower portion of a combination concrete water reservoir/view tower structure, the rehab and protection of the remaining pump room and reservoir, installation of a pressure tank system and new chlorination system in the existing pump room, and the construction of a new wood-frame view tower structure on a pile foundation a short distance from the existing structure. Depending on the availability of funds, the work may also include the installation of approximately 400 lineal feet of 8-inch water main to complete a loop in the fire system, replacement of an existing electric fire booster pump with a new diesel-driven pump in the remaining pump room structure at the water reservoir, and the installation of a stand-by generator in the pump room.
