The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting for Pharmacist services for the Metropolitan Detention Center, Corner of Road 165 at Road 28, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The work schedule will consist of seven (7) sessions per month, each session will last four (4) hours, not to exceed thirty (30) hours per week. All sessions will be conducted from Monday through Friday. The contractor will be responsible for the following: using the equipment at MDC Guaynabo; performing optometrist evaluations to all inmate studies modalities as indicated; recommend normally accepted Optometrist treatment modalities as indicated and assist the Clinical Director in any concerns or consultations. Requirements include a minimum of three years in the Optometrist field and a valid license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The anticipated period of performance will be as follows: one base year to begin upon date of award through 12 months with four subsequent one year option periods.
