The Social Security Administration (SSA) is interested in receiving quotations for various colors of Xerographic Paper, Tab Sheets and Labels (crack and peel). The acquisition will be subject to Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) regarding the acquisition of Commercial Items, and to FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, regarding the Application of Special Simplified Procedures to Commercial Items and Services. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued requesting a contractor to supply Xerographic Paper, Tab Sheets and Labels (crack and peel) with the following salient characteristics: compatibility with Hi-Speed Duplicating Equipment; Xerox 5090; Xerox 5100; and Xerox Docutech 135. The solicitation SSA-RFQ-98-3587 will be issued on or about August 21, 1998 with responses due 10 days thereafter.
