Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) is offering for sale approximately 3,000,000 US Gallons of Fuel Oil, Reclaimed [NSN 9140-01-068-6903, MIL-F-24951B (SA)]. This product is in storage at 3 locations in the San Diego, CA vicinity. Purchaser will remove the product from the storage tanks via truck or barge. Contract would begin approximately October 1, 1998. We are contemplating a contract period of 1 year. Sales contract shall contain provisions for Economic Price Adjustment. Presently approximately 2,000,000 -- 3,000,000 US Gallons of Fuel are in storage at 3 separate locations. As storage tanks are emptied new product will be added, and purchaser will continue to withdraw product.
