COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 5,1998 PSA#2152SUPPLIER PROFILE DATABASE The United States Postal Service has placed
in service an Internet based supplier registration system. The Supplier
Automated Database on the Internet (SADI) is available to anyone
desiring to sell supplies and/or services to Postal facilities around
the country. The completion of the profile is a three step process. In
step one we request that you tell us a how to contact you and provide
basic information about your firm. In step two you are asked to define
what you sell. In step three you are asked to tell us what geographic
area you service. The Postal Service makes no guarantee that your
registering will result in contracts with, or purchases from your firm.
We will, however, be promoting SADI as a sourcing tool among our 1000
plus staff of professional buyers and our 18,000 credit card holders.
The only cost to you is about ten minutes of your time which could
prove to be beneficial to your firm. To access, point your browser to
our award winning Web Site at: http://www.usps.com Click on "Business",
then on "Selling to the USPS". From this page, you can access SADI, as
well as other information designed to help you do business with the
Postal Service. You may choose to go directly to SADI at:
