KITTYHAWK AOC WEEK INTRODUCTION: The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Sensors and Information Directorates and the Kittyhawk Chapter of the Association of Old Crows (AOC) will jointly sponsor "Kittyhawk AOC Week" 15-18 Sep 98 at the AFIT Auditorium (Bldg 642), Area B, Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Kicking off the technical activities on Wednesday, 16 Sep, the AFRL Sensors and Information Directorates will host a Customer Review. Maj Gen Paul, Air Force Research Laboratory commander (AFRL/CC), will be the Welcoming Speaker. The agenda will include Directorate briefs, future MAJCOM requirements, and Battlelab presentations. On Thursday, 17 Sep, the Kittyhawk AOC will host a Briefing to Industry (BTI). Lt Gen Raggio, the new Aeronautical Systems Center commander (ASC/CC), will be the Keynote Speaker. The program will feature briefings from the Air Force, Army, and Navy centered around current and future electronic warfare (EW) programs, to include JSF, DIRCM, IDECM, C4ISR, EC PGM/DSM programs, ATIRCM/CMWS, and EWOSS just to name a few. On Friday, 18 Sep, the Electronic Warfare Integration Office (ASC/EW) and the 412TW/EW will host their semi-annual Test Resources Users' Conference (TRUC). Lt Gen Cranston, Air Force Materiel Command vice commander (AFMC/CV), has been invited as the Keynote Speaker. The conference will focus on EW test and evaluation requirements and capabilities, to include F-22 and JSF. This is an opportunity to find out what's coming down the pike in the test community and provide needed industry input. Presentations on all days will be given by today's top-level government military and civilian leaders. This is a "three for the price of one" event. Registration fee for industry participants for all three days is $150 (AOC members) and $175 (non-AOC members). Government participation will be gratis. An opportunity to tour several WPAFB test and AFRL modeling and simulation facilities on the afternoon of 15 Sep will also be provided. Clearly, this conference is a "must attend" for anyone involved in EW. The classification of the conference is SECRET NOFORN.
