Project Title: Retrofit 1st Increment, Phase 2, Billy Mitchell Village, Various Buildings, Kelly AFB TX. Description: All work shall be in conformance with the drawings and specifications including the furnishing of all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, and services necessary and incidental thereto. The work required to be performed by the Contractor shall consist of, but not limited to, the following principle items: Replace exterior entrance doors and frames and provide new metal doors and frames. Provide new exterior storage units. Provide new range hoods. Replace countertops in all kitchens. Replace combination mirror/medicine cabinet and provide new full-height mirrors. Provide light fixtures in laundry rooms. Provide additional electrical outlet boxes, with dual switches (light/fan). Provide smoke detectors throughout each unit. Performance Period: 240 calendar days. Tentative date of issue is 18 August, 1998. Tentative bid opening date is 18 September, 1998. Acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation will be posted on our Web Site, at the URL shown below.
